Dr. Montiel is a graduate of Downstate Medical Center, specializing in Internal Medicine, Critical Care, and Pulmonary Medicine. He has received specialty training from UMDNJ, New Brunswick, and Deborah Heart and Lung, and has previously trained and worked with Social Security Disability for determinations. In 2019, Dr. Montiel retired from the Medical Review Unit of Temporary Disability and Family Leave for the State of New Jersey, where he served as Medical Supervisor for 25 years. He is fluent in English and Spanish, and received the Camden County Hispanic Association Award in 2000.
